Double Row TIMKEN 558/552D Inch Tapered Roller Bearing
TIMKEN 558/552D consists of a single-piece (double)
outer ring 552D and two single inner ring 558.
This configuration offers a wide effective bearing spread to support loads created by overturning moments.
TIMKEN 558/552D can be used at fixed positions or allowed to fl oat in the housing bore to compensate for shaft expansion.
D suffi x has a groove with oil holes for lubrication through the outer ring
CD suffi x now replaces the DC suffi x listed for part numbers in previous publications. Same features as D suffi x, but CD also has groove with oil holes. One lubrication hole is counterbored to accept an anti-rotational pin.
